It is to be recalled that a few weeks ago, some Nigerians had called out Kizz Daniels for not joining the #EndSARS protests

They had dragged him alongside some other celebrities who had not gone to the streets to protest.

They had called out the likes of Dbanj, Tonto Dikeh and Kizz Daniels for keeping mute about the #EndSARS campaign.

Some had even threatened to remind those celebrities about their silence whenever they try to promote their work in the future.

Shortly after, Kizz Daniel took to the streets where he staged a peaceful EndSARS protest against police brutality in the country.

The protest took place at his hometown in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

In another development, Award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ayo Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has opened up on why he was actively involved during the #EndSARS protests that rocked the country in October.

Recall that Wizkid who was not in Nigeria at the time, had lent his voice when Nigerian took to the streets to call on the government to put an end to police brutality in the country.

He had also joined other Nigerians in London to stage a protest.

In an interview on Capital Xtra’s The Norte Show, the singer disclosed that he chooses to lend his voice to #EndSARS campaign because he has been a victim of police brutality too.
